THE INTERIOR LIFE
Rest Well. Lead Well.
We exist to revive ancient contemplative practices through embodied, modern forms—awakening leaders and communities to the sacred ground within, where authentic presence, creativity, and faithful leadership flow.
Through spiritual accompaniment, embodied retreats, visio divina events, and walking meditations we create space to listen deeply, reflect honestly, and cultivate practices rooted in liturgical seasons and rhythms of rest.
What it is:
The Interior Life is an embodied formation ministry where I walk alongside pastors and leaders seeking spiritual formation, embodied faith, and life integration.
How it transforms
Moving from lives of:
Perfectionism, Numbing, and Earning
Into lives rooted in:
Rest, Belovedness, Emotional Sobriety, and Embodied Union with Christ
What we offer
Guided experiences in silence, solitude, and embodied practices, woven together with beauty, reflection, and rhythm. Both in-person and online, these retreats honor the liturgical seasons and create space for leaders to slow down, reconnect, and engage fully with God's presence. Retreats for pastors are offered as a Multi-Year Formational journey in small peer selected cohorts.
I walk alongside those seeking guidance in spiritual formation, embodied faith, and life integration. Through private sessions, we create space to listen deeply, reflect honestly, and cultivate practices that help you live and lead more fully in alignment with your soul and God's presence.
I use visual literacy as a tool for spiritual insight, teaching leaders to engage with imagery as a pathway to awareness, reflection, and healing. Learning to see differently becomes a spiritual practice, cultivating mindfulness, discernment, and creativity essential to embodied leadership.
Tools and guides that honor the integration of body, soul, and spirit.
Walking meditations through the city, creating space to notice God's presence in everyday places. These embodied practices weave together solitude, movement, and attentiveness, honoring the sacredness of everyday rhythms. Contemplative labyrinth sessions (including Labyrinth Mondays) as embodied pathways of presence and prayer.
Why this matters now
-
Rest is not selfish; it is generative. Christian leaders are largely unpracticed in embodied contemplative methods.
This is a gap The Interior Life directly addresses.
We are at a cultural moment. With John Mark Comer's upcoming release of Into the Quiet (October 2026), we are seeing significant cultural appetite for contemplative practice. The next two years represent an unprecedented opening where leaders and communities are primed and hungry for exactly what The Interior Life offers.
VISION
To embody ancient Christian wisdom in contemporary forms—creating space where leaders recover the interior life and lead from presence, rest, and the truth of their belovedness.
